# Waldo

> Waldo is a free swipe-to-match hiring app for restaurant, bar and café jobs in Montréal, where job seekers and venues only start chatting after both sides say yes.

Waldo is a free mobile app (iOS and Android) operating in Greater Montréal, Québec, Canada.
Job seekers and venues both swipe; a chat opens only when both sides say yes. There is no
fee for job seekers to apply and no posting fee for venues. The app and this site are
available in English and French.

Québec minimum wage is $16.60/hour, and $13.30/hour for tipped employees, in effect since May 1, 2026 (source: CNESST).
